This policy describes how HammerTime (web and mobile apps) handles personal information, with emphasis on camera and image data as required for transparency on app stores.
HammerTime is a workforce timekeeping and project task tool used by organizations and their workers. If you use HammerTime through your employer or another organization, that organization’s own policies may also apply alongside this notice.
The mobile app may request access to your device camera and, where supported, your photo library so you can:
The camera is not used for unrelated purposes such as general background scanning, advertising profiling, or third-party analytics from the camera feed. Images are captured only when you initiate an action in the app (for example tapping to take a proof photo or attach evidence).
Before upload, images are typically normalized on the device (for example resized or re-encoded as JPEG) to meet technical limits. Processing occurs on the device for that purpose; the app does not use your camera except when you choose camera capture or attach a photo through the supported flows above.
When you submit a photo through HammerTime, the image is transmitted over HTTPS to HammerTime servers operated for your organization’s account and stored as part of the service (for example with your time entry, task record, or certification). Stored files are used only to provide the timekeeping, task, and compliance features you and your organization use.
Depending on your organization’s settings and roles, authorized users (such as owners, managers, or administrators connected to the same company account) may be able to view or download images you submitted for operational, audit, or compliance purposes.
We do not sell camera images or use them to build advertising profiles. We do not share images with unrelated third parties for their own marketing. We may use subprocessors (such as cloud hosting, storage, or email delivery) that process data only to operate the service under appropriate agreements and security practices.
Images are retained for as long as needed to operate HammerTime for your organization and to meet legitimate business, legal, or contractual requirements (for example timesheet and safety records). Retention and deletion of specific records may also depend on your organization’s policies and actions (for example removing a task, certification, or account data where the product supports it). If you need a record removed, contact your organization’s HammerTime administrator as well as us at the email above where applicable.
HammerTime also processes other categories of data needed to run the product (for example account identifiers, email for login, work assignments, time entries, and device or security telemetry as implemented in the app). Those details may be described in separate in-product notices, contracts with your organization, or future updates to this page.
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the service (including encryption in transit) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
If you or your organization use the service from different countries, data may be processed in jurisdictions where we or our subprocessors operate, subject to applicable law and safeguards we put in place.
HammerTime is intended for workplace use and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after updates may constitute acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise rights, contact your organization’s administrator and [email protected]. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
